ABOUT ME
I’m David, a cinematographer born in Geneva in ’96, currently based in Warsaw. I graduated from the Lodz Film School, where I completed a master’s degree in cinematography.
What drives me most as a Director of Photography is the relationship with the director and the process of bringing our shared vision to life in a visual narrative. The most exciting aspect of being a filmmaker is the opportunity to craft entirely new realms, breathing life into characters and scenarios that never existed before. It’s thrilling to transform these imaginative concepts into cinematic reality.
I feel fortunate to have received recognition from two esteemed cinematography festivals worldwide. At EnergaCamerimage in Poland, I was honored with the Silver Tadpole for my movie “Mariam and Nathan,” and at the Manaki Brothers in Macedonia, I received a special mention for the best cinematography for my work on “Resurrection,” directed by Luiza Budejko.
Fluent in Polish, English, and French, I love collaborating with diverse filmmakers to create captivating stories together.
